Sontay has continuously promoted good practice within the industry for over 40 years. Whether that’s pushing the boundaries of product innovation, promoting the great work the industry association does or providing high-quality training for those working in the industry.

Sontay has worked closely with the Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA) for many years. The team contribute to the association’s working groups as well as supporting its progression and growth within the industry. Sontay’s Managing Director, Sandy Damm, is also currently a member of the BCIA’s Management Committee, with the aim of strengthening and developing the BCIA brand, making it synonymous with professionalism and excellence.

The BCIA has recently created a LinkedIn group to offer members a valuable place to stay abreast of the latest news in the building controls industry, as well as connect with fellow members. You can join here...

An important part of the BCIA is the training it offers, and this is key a synergy with Sontay. In its position as a BCIA training partner, Sontay runs the BCM01 to BCM06 courses at its training facility in Edenbridge, Kent. The six courses have been newly updated and cover a range of topics whilst incorporating the latest technical information from the building controls sector. Sontay also runs its own training sessions and CPD courses on a range of topics including smart communication and wireless temperature sensing. The presentations can be given at your required location as well as Sontay’s training facility. Find out more...
