November is set to be a busy month for the Sontay team. We will be travelling to a number of countries, showcasing our exciting new solutions and providing visitors with helpful information about how our products can save energy, cut costs and improve comfort in commercial buildings.
We will be taking part in Intelligent Buildings Systems (IBS) in France as well as the Smart Buildings Show and the Historic Buildings Parks & Gardens Conference in London. As usual, we will also be exhibiting at the Tridium Niagara Forum in Dubai.
Intelligent Buildings Systems (IBS), 6th & 7th November 2018, Porte de Versailles in Paris, France
Sontay will be showcasing a number of innovative new products including its Smart Communication range and its innovative SonNet wireless solution on stand D9 at this year’s event. The team will also be on hand to answer visitor questions and demonstrate how Sontay sensors can work in various applications including for data centers, air handling units and boiler rooms as well, as how they can be invaluable for water detection or chilled beams cooling systems.
Smart Buildings Show, 7th & 8th November 2018, London, UK
On stand C6, Sontay will be demonstrating the capabilities of its Smart Communication range as well as its SonNet wireless system, allowing visitors to learn more about creating a smart building.
Andy Camsell, Sontay’s Trainer, will also be presenting a session on ‘Wireless technology within the building services industry’ CPD on Wednesday 7th at 3pm in the Training Hub. This session will cover wireless sensor network topologies; wireless sensing vs fixed sensors and, importantly, security issues for wireless networks. Andy has been working in the building services industry since 1986 and has built his area of expertise in control systems and BMS since.
Historic Buildings Parks & Gardens Conference, 13th November, London, UK
Taking place at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London, the Historic Buildings, Parks and Gardens event creates a unique opportunity for companies offering products and services involved in the care, repair and conservation of historic buildings, and their surrounding landscapes. It has been running for over 30 years is held in parallel with the Historic Houses Annual General Meeting. Sontay will be showing visitors the SonNet wireless system during the event and highlighting its benefits for retrofit applications in historic and heritage buildings.
