4th June 2019

We had a fantastic night at the BCIA Awards back in May.

Launched in 2007, the BCIA Awards are known for recognising and rewarding companies, products and people for their achievements and positive contributions within the industry. For its 12th year, the awards were held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham on Thursday 9th May. The special event brought together some four hundred engineers, manufactures, suppliers and distributors.

Sontay is a BCIA training partner and we were thrilled that Sontay was shortlisted in the Contribution to Training Award category for the second year running. The Sontay Academy aims to improve understanding on the application of sensing and control products for optimum energy saving and control as well as occupancy comfort.

It was great to see so many nominees for the Young Engineer of the Year category at the recent BCIA Awards. They are the future of the industry and we have been lucky enough to welcome some of them to our training including the winner, Luke Williamson. Congratulations Luke!

I hope everyone had fun on the Scalextric, we know we did!
