Shamsher joined Sontay in April 2026. He has over 15 years of sales experience across leading organizations such as Siemens, Honeywell, and Tyco, along with hands-on entrepreneurial exposure. He did Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Rajasthan in 2007 and MBA in Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies in 2009.

He joins us as Regional Sales Manager for India & South Asia and is committed to expand Sontay business & drive customer-centric growth in the Region.

I joined Sontay team in Apr 2026.

What is your "Sontay Moment"?

My very first conversation with Mark during the interview stage left a strong impression on me. There was something genuinely inspiring about the company — the way it approached business, the principles it stood for, and the people-first culture it seemed to nurture. That initial interaction made me feel that this was a team I truly wanted to be a part of.

What is your favourite part of being at Sontay?

The trust, flexibility, and positive energy within the company.

My inspirations?

One Sanskrit shloka that has always inspired me is “Veer Bhogya Vasundhara” — The Earth belongs to the brave. Another Sanskrit shloka that has been part of my life philosophy is “Yatra Shauryam, Tatra Shri” — Where there is courage, there is prosperity.

Both reflect my belief that growth and success come to those who face challenges with courage and conviction.
